Tom Giberson is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist who has consulted with dozens of individuals and organizations to develop leaders and leadership teams for over 18 years. He has held both external consulting positions as well as director-level staff positions with global responsibilities regarding leadership development and organization improvement and change.
As an Associate Professor of Leadership at a state-supported University, he has researched and published on a variety of topics including leadership, organizational culture, and the future of higher education. He also teaches leadership, teams, and organization development at the undergraduate, graduate, and Executive MBA levels. His research addresses both applied and theoretical aspects of leadership, organizational culture, and change. The Center of Creative Leadership has awarded his research on leadership and organizational culture, and he has published in a variety of top-tier journals.

Tom has extensive experience in a wide-variety of industries and organizations, including healthcare, manufacturing, retail, financial, education and other non-profits. His experience ranges from long-term organizational culture change to individual executive coaching. His clients range from Fortune 100 businesses to local small-scale organizations. Tom’s particular interest and expertise lies with helping executive leaders and teams understand and enhance the impact their behavior has on others and the organization, and jointly developing strategies to target and improve their impact through professional development and growth.
He has conducted in-depth assessments on well over 500 executives for the purposes of hiring and leadership development, and has extensive experience as a leadership coach. He also has deep experience as a leadership team coach/facilitator for the purposes of team development, organization change, and strategic planning.
